• My ideal audience member is an activist. This is a member of society that is aware of the latest information, trends and ideas in the world. 
• An activist is someone that is passionate about helping to change issues for the better and make the world a better place to live in.
• They are dedicated to making things right, in this case, my perfect audience member is passionate about protecting the environment. This is reflected through my chosen song in the lyrics "We're not scaremongering
  This is really happening". This adds a sense of urgency to the idea that global warming is occurring.

• An activist will aspire to make changes to situations that could be improved. This is presented in my chosen protest song ‘Idioteque’s' lyrics.

The Ideal Audience

FOOD
-  Relevant, trendy foods that are popular in amongst social media

• Food that is good for the environment. For example, seasonal produce that hasn’t travelled far to reach you, adding to air and sea pollution.
• Less meat consumes - to combat the growing issue of animal cruelty and pollution issues. 
• They are conscious of the growing eco-friendly, vegan, sustainable lifestyle.
• They will try to use products with the least plastic packaging as possible, again to combat global warming and other environmental issues.

CLOTHES
-   Popular, on trend styles.

• Clothes that are very much relevant and worn by lots of people, as this audience is very socially aware and informed on trends.
• However, again they will most likely aspire to wear clothes that are ethically made, ensuring no one is mistreated and the environment is not harmed (less use of fast fashion)

MUSIC

•   They will listen to music that is also relevant and popular.
•   Themes of empowerment common in songs/music. Equality for all.
•   The genres will probably include rock, alternative, pop etc… Or songs that are based on protests and through singing them and supporting them, they can help to make change. 

How my music video will attract this audience:

• My music video is going to include features and elements similar to those found in other protest songs. For example, in order to keep the audience engaged throughout, I will include themes and ideas that they are aware of.
• I will include characters that my audience can connect with and identify with. In turn, this will make the video more personal, and easy for the audience to feel connected to in a personal way.
• It needs to be up to date in terms of social issues, and needs to include problems that are relevant in 2020 (global warming), as these are the issues that the audience watching the video will feel passionate about.
• The genre of my music video mainly features  music videos that have some black and white scenes, with mostly performance based videos, with little added effects.
• Shot wise, scenes are most commonly set out with extreme long shots, and close-up shots are also frequently used to show emotion in the characters.
• Lighting wise, it is very common in alternative rock videos to include low toned down, natural lighting. 
• Costumes are mostly basic and plain, as the narrative of the music video is considered more important, with little focus on the characters in general.
